This utility is very easy to use and doesn't require installation. In fact, you can use it directly from your portable devices.

It has a simple UI and supports most major file compression tools. It also features some nice extras that make it stand out from the crowd.

For example, if you are converting an archive that is password protected it will detect the file and prompt you to enter the password before proceeding. This is a very nifty feature and could come in handy someday.

The interface is very clean and well-structured, with all the functions in a single window. It also has a "drag and drop" feature where you can add the files to convert.

Unlike most archive converters, ArcConvert does not support batch conversion - it processes a single file at a time. It also displays a small summary after conversion, and then prompts you if you want to try again with another target format if the result is larger than the original.
